Personal Development, Transformation and Growth Through Horses
Equine facilitated learning (EFL) and Riding Focused Instruction can provide a non-judgemental and empowering space for self-development and personal growth.
Here at Skerrett Equine we create an experiential learning environment that allows every participant to become fully engaged in their own unique learning process, as well as giving them the opportunity to learn from the experiences of others in the group.
Participants will develop important insights and awareness around their own behaviour patterns. We then support the participants in actively exploring these insights through their own engagement with the horses. The result is the participants can then directly embody these new insights and experiences, allowing them to gain trust in this new way of being.
The important difference with using horses for personal development is their unique ability to facilitate life changing and transformative experiential learning. Horses have no agenda and reflect perfectly your current way of acting and being in a non-judgemental way. Horses respond to subtle shifts in your energy, emotions and body language giving you instant real time feedback to help direct your learning.
RFI sessions are facilitated on horse back. They are suitable for beginners to advanced riders.
